PREVIEW - AFC MANSFIELD Vs RAINWORTH MW

The last meeting of these two local rivals saw The Bulls come out 4-1 winners at The Forest Town Arena.  The match programme and match report are below.

Both teams are enjoying good season so far, AFC sit 4th in the league and Rainworth MW sit 7th.

You have to go back to September for the last time The Wrens lost, a 3-2 defeat at Pickering Town.  They have now gone 6 games undefeated.

The Bulls are on a 4 game unbeaten run in the league and have only lost once in the league all season.

The Bulls welcome back the leagues joint top goal-scorer, Ollie Fearon, after suspension has kept him out of their last 4 games.

Another ex Wren, Phil Buxton, will make his 211 appearance for AFC Mansfield if selected.

It will be a return to The Forest Town Arena for Brad Wilson who captained the successful U21 side at AFC Mansfield and made 92 appearances for the 1st team.

With everything in the mix it is sure to be a very entertaining and competitive game.

AFC TURN DEFENCE INTO ATTACK

Clipstone FC Vs AFC Mansfield

The two clubs in this game are polar opposites as far as the NCEL Premier Division stands.  AFC Mansfield have yet to be beaten in a league game and sit 21 points ahead of their neighbours, Clipstone FC.

Clipstone have played 13 and lost 13 and sit at the bottom of the league without any points at all.

But this is a derby game and strange things happen in derbies.  Clipstone will certainly be hoping so, what better way to get off the mark than beating your closest rivals.

For what it's worth my money is on The Bulls.  With a mean defence having conceded just 3 goals in 9 league games and a striker in Ollie Fearon that is in great form having scored 9 in 9 league games so far.

With Clipstone having conceded over 4 goals a game on average only a fool would bet against The Bulls.
